Mecklenburg-Vorpommern tanzt an – the joint initiative of Perform[d]ance, schloss bröllin and the Theatre Vorpommern – presents, produces and communicates Contemporary Dance in the federal state of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern. The supporting organisation Tanzregion Mecklenburg-Vorpommern initiates the exchange and further training of dance professionals, develops new formats and a variety of activities, gives dance a lively platform in the region and strengthens its supra-regional appeal. Activities: ‘Tanzfusionen’ festival, production residencies, classroom pieces, ‘Fachstelle Tanz’ (expert centre for dance), mentoring & workshops, professional exchange, etc.
