On.Site

The VOR.ORT format gives artists the opportunity to rehearse, research and experience dance in public formats and participatory actions in places away from the urban centres.

Resident artists meet their hosts and the local people, get to know the special features of dance creation in the respective region and gain insights into the history and structure of the host organisation. Mentoring, exchange and networking are important elements of the residency programmes offered by »tanz weit draußen«.

On.Site 2023

In 2023, a first series of residencies was held between artists and the host venues Halle 73 (Werder), Bruchstücke (Letschin), Szene 2wei (Lahr), TanzWERKSTATT (Cottbus), Ponderosa (Stolzenhagen), Tanz- und Theaterwerkstatt (Ludwigsburg), fabrik (Potsdam) and K3 – Zentrum für Choreographie (Hamburg).
